About Vortaxon Max

We track investment patterns so you don't have to guess

Started in a Mullingar office in 2019, now helping thousands understand where markets actually move.

Look, we're not here to promise miracles or predict the future. What we do is take complicated investment trends and break them down into something that makes sense. Sometimes that means warning people when something looks overhyped. Other times it means highlighting opportunities that others might miss. Either way, our job is clarity.

How we got here

From two people in a shared workspace to a team that analyses markets across Europe and beyond.

2019

The Beginning

Started with one question: why do investment trends feel so inaccessible? We began publishing weekly analysis for friends in the finance sector.

2021–2022

Expansion Period

Word spread. What was informal analysis became structured educational content. We added courses and opened to the public across Ireland and UK markets.

2025 Today

Current Focus

Now we're developing advanced tracking for emerging sectors and preparing new autumn programs that launch September 2025. Growth continues, carefully.

What actually drives us

We're suspicious of grand mission statements. But there are a few things we genuinely care about when it comes to investment education and trend analysis.

  • 01

    Honest assessment

When a trend looks shaky, we say so. When something has potential, we explain why. No hype, no fear-mongering.

  • 02

    Context matters

A hot tip without understanding why it's hot is useless. We dig into the reasons behind market movements.

  • 03

    Long-term thinking

Quick wins are nice, but understanding patterns that play out over years—that's where real insight lives.

Meet someone from the team

We're a mix of analysts, educators, and people who just love figuring out why markets do what they do.

Cillian Ó Briain

Lead Market Analyst

Cillian joined in early 2020 after years tracking European equity patterns for institutional clients. He's the one who'll tell you when everyone else is wrong about a sector—and usually back it up with data. Outside work, he's probably hiking somewhere in Wicklow or reading obscure economic history.

Why we're based in Mullingar

People sometimes ask why we're not in Dublin or London. Honestly? Lower costs mean we can focus on research instead of rent. And there's something to be said for distance from the echo chambers.

Being in the Irish midlands doesn't make our analysis any less relevant to global markets. If anything, the perspective helps. We're close enough to European finance hubs to stay connected, but far enough away to think independently.
